It's always sunny in Philadelphia
I'm sorry for my long long absence. Lately I didn't go out, partially because I'm a lazy ass and partially because I have no $. No going out means nothing to take photos of. Today, in order to fulfill a request from one of my "favourite girls", I post this post. She wanted to see Philly again through my eyes. So there you are, the corners of Philly during a beautiful sunset of July where it's stinking hot and I'm on a flip flop walking more than 40 streets...
"Summer house"
The bush outside of our house with its stunning summer green color
"SEPTA"
Our train system here which is famous for fucked up, delays and sudden change of routes :) The image is a little blur cos the train moves fast and the lighting was pretty dim.
"Bus stop"
A bus stop near Penn with an Ads on it. Just find it inspiring.
"Feather of a Phoenix"
A phoenix just drops a firy feather on the grass of summer. Will fall come soon? I just love the color of the red leaves. SHot in sunset mode for the warm filter and orange cast layer.
"Yellow"
A very vivid and lively bush of yellow daisy. Shot in sunset mode with low depth of field to blur out the crowded background of flowers. Didn't need to alter in Photoshop
"City of Brotherly Love"
A romantic candid shot of a guy and a girl fixing there bicycle in front of the back drop of the famous Philly twin towers. Philly is called the City of Brotherly love for a reason. is this the one?
"Blade"
A glass building near 30th street station. It's sharpness and translucency make it almost look like a blade piercing the sky.
"Traffic"
A junction at 30th street. It's always crowded here at this hour.
"Abandoned"
A piece of trash taken through the wooden frame of a fence. It just conveyed a feeling of a very messy, abandoned and neglected side of Philly
"Pride"
The proud eagle of Philly standing straight staring at the deep blue sky.
"Sunset blossoms"
At the best hour of the sunset, the flowers with its vivid deep yellow shades attracted me. The contrast against green and red just made it irresistable to capture...
"Fountain"
A cool fountain in a luxury corner of Philly where executives sit down and have their cup of coffee. Shot in slow shuttle mode with 2 second shuttle open to achieve the silky effect in the water. Shoot in fast shutter and u can see every single drop of water. I prefer this one, it looks more magical and dreamy :)
"To the sky!"
Shot the tower again at close distant from bottom up. I framed it by the 2 buildings to create a creative effect of it.
"Buildings"
Buildings so tall that they extend to the sky and stop the sunray casting down to the earth. I took this while I was crossing the street. I just stop in the middle of it, point up and shoot :p.
"Welcoming"
Benjamin looks toward the immegrants of US. Inspiring
"Fountain"
The water cooling the burning sunset of Philly down.
"Angel"
The angel in the fountain during a wonderful after sunset shilohuete. It was taken at 4" shuttle speed for the silky water.
"Sunset burning the streets of Park Towne"
Nice sunset. Full stop.
"Untitled"
Don't know how to title this one. Just nice.
There you go, the corners of Philly. Many people say Philly is just boring and black and dirty and high crime rate. It's not true. Every city has it good and bad side. This is just a very beautiful side of Philly, very magnificent and very different. And it is just 30-40 blocks of houses, not the entire city yet.
Hope you have enjoyed this post. More coming soon!!!

Adrian performed his colorful and tasty fish. The fish is from his boss, who are excellent at fishing. I like the color of the dishes, very vibrant and fresh!
"Cup cake"
I play a bit with depth of field to reveal the difference between the 2 cakes. They are all baked by Adrian
"Tofu"
This is from our favourite sote: Yue Kie
"Mushroom"
Cooked by our infamous cook Estee
"Egg and saussage"
Another one by Estee. She just anyhow cooked
"Desperte Housewives"
The fifth Desperte Housewife in the series.
"Oven"
Don't know how to comment

Florida Trip Last Part
OK, last post. These are just a few random images i took on the way. It's not a grand ending or anything, so bear with it ;)
Anyway, I'm very broke now, anyone interested in licensing my photographs for a very low price? Or maybe you need a designer?
"Crashed"
OK, this is our famous car crash that is known among all NOC batch mates. Shamir was the one who sat right at the door of crash and I sat right behind. I only knocked my head to the door, but it was really scary. But then, right after that, all I can think of is taking photos of the event. I guess that's the function of a light writer (Photography = light writing). I kept my memory by photos...
"Raindrops moving on my window"
This is the photo of the raindrops crossing by our car window while we were moving fast...
"Sky"
Another photo of the sky with the sun directly shines into the lense
"Sleeping reflection"
A candid shot of Shamir sleeping in the car. The reflection in the car mirror is cool. And his curly hair, too.
"City of the sun"
A shot of Miami city from my car window
"July 4th"
A shot of Fireworks from my airplane window. It was so dark and there was a yellow casting from the airplane so the shot suffered from quite a bit of noise. The plane was moving too, so it was blurry. But still, it's a nice one :)

Florida Trip Part 4
Life on the beach
Today part will be a lot of different shots by the beach. Blue will be the theme color. Hope you all will like it.
"Kids"
You know I love kids. And you know I love the beach. THe combination of both? Beautiful picture of kids playing with the big blue sea. All are taken in fast shuttle speed.
1. Jump!
2. Baby and the sea3. The fellowship of the hats4. Where's my treasure?5. Treasure in the sand6. Where?"Friends"
THese are a few photos of friends that were with me on the trip. The shots are candid. Normally my nicer shots are the candid shots.
1. Niki 2. Yew Zhen
3. Shamir
"Father and son"
This is the 5th shot of father and son. I think there's something fascinated me about the way kids are being brought up by their Dads. THe way Dads are with the kids are different from Moms. No cuddling, no holding or what, most of the father and son shots are Dad letting the baby play, let them walk, guide them in action. Isn't it just inspiring?
"Mother and son"
First photo ever features a Mom. And just to confirm my point from above, Mom are for soft and sweet and caring.
"Waves"
Just the white waves washing over the the shore of sands and sun
"The White Heat"
The thing that stands out from this view is the shades of white clouds, white umbrella and white sands. So white it's turning into a heat wave :) Haha, my PacEvoluTion logo is also white
"Steps"
My own foot steps on the wet send after the wave. Somewhat inspiring and nostalgic
"Horizons"
A few photos taken with the horizons
1. The path. Can you see the light green path made by sand?2. Bed of the sea. THe shallow area by the seaweed and the crystal clear water
3. Stoneway to heaven. Another pathway that is inspiring to me
"City by the sea"
THe city parts that is near the sea, the small but beautiful human structures that challenge the big deep blue sea.
"Fly"
A colorful parachute stands out in a blue and green ocean
"Mood of Holiday"
A few playful shots with my flip flop and my shades. Although the trip turned out quite disastrous because of some particular person, this is all holiday mood is about, the sun, the sand, the sea, the flip flop and the photographs. Hope it shines...
OK, last part coming up. Don't you wish you can just come to the beach and jump to the sea?
