Around the House
OK, I'm going on a vacation to Florida tomorrow. So there will be a LOOOOONG time without my "nice" photos. But I'll promise I'll bring more back from Orlando and Miami. So now, a few photos I took around the house.

"Lense"

First, my DSLR lense. I took by my old Creative 3.2 . It's hard since I hold the thing with my left hand and the camera with my right hand and the lighting condition requires long shuttle speed. "Lunch"
This is half of my lunch. My colleague was like "How can a guy so skinny eat SOOOO much?"
"Me, myself and the Window"
Haha took the pic by my left hand. The back lighting was kinda good that day. I took like a few shots because my left hand was not strong enough.
"Me myself and the same damn window"
Another self shot from a different angle. Sorry about my face, blame it on my parents :p
"Caged"
I took one of the shot like this before in my F302, but this window is more like a cage, it actually does have a jail like net.
"Window"
My room's window in a cloudy day. THere's a wine bottle there, and the lighting on it was kinda nice
"Sunshine"
Deliang's room's plant. Saw it from a kitchen and thought I took a snap. The lighting was very good
"Fan Pattern Series"
How to take this picture? Step 1: Lie flat on the floor. Step 2: Place your camera on a strong and sturdy stand, such as...my hands. Step3: Take in slow shuttle mode. Play around with the speed and you will have these 4 different patterns

"Colors"
I woke up one day and realize my head was right below my clothes rack. So I see these colors and thought I snap a shot. It was 7 am in the morning and all I can think of is a nice photograph :)

"Rainy night"
This is the view from my window in one rainy day. I took the neon lights across the street. It's still slow shutter speed since the yellow lighting in my room kinda sucks

OK guys, cya when I'm back from Florida

Outdoor

The photos below are taken at Carol Ammon's house. It was a gathering of both batch 6 and batch 7"Water Push up"
Neeraj is doing his push up...in the water. Look at his face!!!
"Touch"
A touch of the feet before they stepping into the water. Well, the feet are...mine :p
"Flippers"
These beautiful feet are not mine. They're Niki's I think
"You're beautiful"
Where's James Blunt? I think he's already drown in the pool. Oops! I'm late...
"Active"
Ziling playing captain ball. She looks so active
"Volley...dance"
Eric is dancing his Volley Ball moves :)
"America Next Top Volley baller"
The 2 girls really have a very nice jumbo jump here. The movement was capture at fast shutter speed
"India Next Top Model"
Look at the hair. So funny!

OK, hope you all have a nice weekend. Don't be a loser and stay at home, doing internship report and paint some painting like me :(

Canada
These are the photos I took during my trip to Canada. It was really the very best place on earth to me. I don't know, it was my childhood dream"Kids"
These are my cousins drawing and painting on the floor. I lied flat on the floor and took them by surprise
"Hmmmmm Oishii desu"
My first ever made sushi role. The close up make it looks nice huh? It was taken by my uncle's Canon point and shoot
"Morning Coffee"
This was in cafeteris, a very elegant breakfast club on the street of Montreal. The glass door is one way and it lets you see the outside revolving world when you are there, relaxing, with your coffee
"The Notre Dame"
The biggest church in Montreal. The inside is grand. It was filled with yellow tungsen light so I have my white balance adjusted. Hence, the photo is a bit bluish
"Wonderland"
This is Niagara Fall during sunrise. The rays of sunlight cast a wonderful ambience down to the wonder of nature. Magnificient!
"Will you marry me?"
Saw this garden of green tulips where only 2 early flowers have blossomed. I had a playful thought of a guy following a girl (or the other way round, whatever). In the millions of people, only you and me, and I found you. Will you marry me?
"The bells"
A dunno what type of flowers, but it's extremely nice. The dreamy effect was just a lucky one. The mist near Niagara Fall sorta cover the front of my lense and together with the dim light of cloudy days, it created this natural lucky filter
"Freedome"
Canada, the place where you can be free from the restriction of life and free the child spirit in you.
"Fly"
Caught this little guy by fast shutter mode. This is one shot from the entire multi take series. Just nice she reached the tower. I really really love this picture
"Down on earth"
From Toronto's CN Tower look down the busy city under the soothing light of sunset...
"Lights"
My first very successful night shot. These are the lights they use to shine Niagara Falls at night. It was strong, intense. I have long shutter speed of about 2 second I think and a slow synchronus flash. It looks cool, I guess
"Frankenstein"
My friend just right in front of the lights. He looks real scary. The shot is natural, no Photoshop, nothing. It was extremely hard to take cos the intensity of the lights behind is too strong and the camera just can't focus
"Canal"
This is the famous canal in Ottawa. They skat in it during winter and row some boats during summer. So cool!
"Bridge"
This is the bridge between Ottawa and Montreal. I took this from a hill where they place there parliarment
"Reflection I"
Caught the world in a convex piece of mirror. Just playful
"Reflection II"
Got playful again at Tulips Festival. I lied down on the floor and I asked my friend just take my sunglasses. Here is what I got. You have the sky, the tree and the tulips graden in there :)
"Blossoms"
I freeze a bee at work at Montreal Botanical Garden. It was under sports mode with fast shutter speed. I was a bit scared the bee will be frightened by the flash and sting me. Yupe, and I used macro too :)
"Love birds"
Invade a bit of these lovers privacy. They are so lovely. I purposely took through the leaves, to create the illusion this is not a zoo, this is nature. The focus was just nice ;)
"Stand"
Where's your other leg, mister?
"Our golden nest"
It's golden when there were you and me...
"Sailors"
These guys are real fast and it was hard to catch them stoping at one place. One almost banged into me. Well, the shot gave me a sense of freedom, of looking forward to fly further, higher...

So much for Canada. I really really fell in love with it. Wait a minute, I AM still in love with canada :)

South Philly
The pictures below are taken from South Philadelphia, US
"Top of the world"
It's me. The photo was taken by DeLiang. It's his credit lah, although I set the camera settings and thought of the idea of climbing up the rock to pretend to be Lion King. It was taken from a very low andgle. The rock wasn't that high, about 2 meters above the ground only, but the perspective make it looks so high :p

"Free"
We didn't mean you can s**t for free, we mean you can have the whole toilet for free :)

"The gateway"
It was somewhere near a bridge and a dame. Nice huh?

"Reflection and shadow"
This was taken from inside our car. I plugged the flowers out from a tree nearby (So sorry to mother nature). You can see the reflection in the window and the shadow casted down.

"Jump"
My first shot ever with fast shutter speed and multi take feature. Kinda cool they are all floating in the air. Zoom in and you can see all the funniest expression ever :)

More coming up

The Washington trip
It was a terrible trip. It was raining the whole damn day and freaking cold. Still I got some nice shot

"Sunset on Highway 95"
I took this from inside a car while DeLiang was driving. The burning sun before its last dying light sorta caught my eyes

"On the tree"
It's a bird! It's a plane! No, it's Adrian Zhou!

"Missing you"
Shamir and the cherry blossom trees. If only I had someone to miss :p

"Cold"
A little dog was tied to a pole on the street while it was raining. He was shivering. Poor little creature. What is colder, the weather or the heart of your owner?

"Just your smile and the rain is gone"
A Thai girl in Cheery Blossom festival. Despite the pouring rain and the super ugly raincoat, her smile is still shining. Sweet!

It's weekend so I think I'll have a few more post before I sleep :)
Hope you all like my photos :)
